How do I generate quiz questions with AI?

1. Make sure the video has a transcript. If it has none, the builder offers Create Transcript.
2. Open the video and select Create Quiz in the interactions list. You can also select Generate questions on the Transcript page, or Generate Questions with AI when you add a new question.
3. Under How many questions?, enter a number from 1 to 20. The default is 5.
4. Select Generate questions. The window shows the progress while Mindstamp writes each question.
5. Review each question. The correct answer is marked. Remove any question you do not want, or select Remove All Questions to start again.
6. Select the Save button, which shows the number of questions, to add them to the video. Then open any question to change its text, time or settings.

• Multiple-choice questions with 3 to 5 answers and one correct answer, so each question counts toward the score.
• Each question comes from the part of the transcript near its place in the video.
• The builder avoids repeating a question already in the video, and avoids facts that an existing question already tests.

On a video with no questions, the new questions are spaced evenly across the video. On a video that already has questions, each new question goes in the middle of the largest gap between questions, so running the builder again fills the gaps. Questions in the Magic Menu or on the end screen do not affect placement.

The builder writes in the transcript’s language when it is English, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian or German. For a transcript in another language, it writes in English.

The builder adds nothing to the video until you save. AI can get facts wrong, so read each question and its correct answer before you publish.
