Interactive video translation

One video. Every language.

Translate video audio, captions, transcripts, player text, and interactive content so one Mindstamp video works for viewers in many languages.

Interactions-only translation is free on every plan.

Use the player language control to see one interactive video change for different viewers.

Whole-experience localization

Translate more than the words people hear

Audio-only dubbing leaves questions, buttons, forms, and player controls behind. Mindstamp translates the parts that make the video interactive too.

No duplicate projects

Keep each language on one video timeline instead of cloning the video and rebuilding its interactions.

No language mismatch

Audio, captions, transcripts, controls, and interactive elements change as one viewer experience.

No link maze

Share one video and let the player, browser, or link parameter select the right language.

Two translation modes

Dub the video or translate only the interactions

Choose the level of localization that fits the video you already have.

Full audio dub

Translate the complete video experience

Mindstamp creates a new audio track and keeps the rest of the interactive experience in the same language.

  • Translated audio, captions, and transcript
  • Translated interactions and player text
  • Language selector, browser detection, and direct language links

Interactions only

Localize the interactive layer for free

Keep the original audio and translate the buttons, questions, forms, hotspots, overlays, and labels around it.

  • Free on every Mindstamp plan
  • No transcript required
  • Useful when the source video is already recorded in the target language

Dubbing minutes

Billing uses video length rounded up to the next minute, once for each target language. A 2-minute video in 3 languages uses 6 dubbing minutes. You do not pay again for a language already purchased for the same video. If you add languages later, only the new languages use minutes.

Practical localization

Fast AI dubbing, with room for human review

Mindstamp times translated audio to the video, but it does not match mouth movement. Review the source transcript and translated content when exact wording, pronunciation, or on-screen timing matters. Translation quality can vary by language, topic, and source transcript quality.

Questions

What teams ask about video translation and dubbing

What parts of an interactive video can Mindstamp translate?

Mindstamp can translate video audio, captions, the transcript, buttons, questions, forms, hotspots, text overlays, and common player text where a matching translation is available.

Does full audio dubbing require a transcript?

Yes. The transcript drives the translated audio and caption timing. Review and edit it before you submit a dubbing job. Interactions-only translation does not require a transcript.

Can I translate only the buttons and questions?

Yes. Interactions-only translation changes the interactive content without changing the video audio. It is free on every Mindstamp plan.

Can one video link support more than one language?

Yes. Viewers can choose a language in the player, Mindstamp can use their browser language, or you can share a link with a language parameter such as ?lang=es.

What languages does Mindstamp support?

Mindstamp supports dozens of global languages and variants, including Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, Italian, Dutch, and more. AI output can be reviewed and edited, and protected terms can stay unchanged.

How is AI video dubbing priced?

Interactions-only translation is free. Full dubbing uses the monthly minutes included with eligible plans, then costs $1 per minute per language. Video length rounds up to the next minute. A language already purchased for the same video is not charged again. Dubbing is timed to the video, but it is not lip-sync.
