Interactive video for training

Make training interactive

Add questions, feedback, branching, and resources to your training videos, then see how each learner answered and what they completed.

Works with the videos you already have. No re-recording, no re-encoding.

What completion misses

Completion does not show how learners answered

A standard video report shows whether the video reached the end. It does not show answers, retries, or review paths.

Answers are missing

A completion record does not include the learner’s answers or the questions they missed.

Feedback comes later

A separate quiz delays feedback and removes the question from the part of the video that taught it.

Records are split across tools

Completion can sit in the LMS while answers and acknowledgements stay in separate forms or email threads.

Inside the video

Ask questions, give feedback, and record results

Place each interaction at the point where the learner needs to answer, review, or continue.

Questions

Ask questions while they watch

Place a question at an exact timecode and require an answer before the learner continues.

  • Use multiple-choice, free-response, rating, audio, video, or drawing questions
  • Add hotspots and required actions to the video frame
  • Record each answer, attempt, and completion by learner

Feedback

Give feedback after each answer

Show an explanation after each answer or send the learner back to the relevant part of the video.

  • Show different feedback for correct and incorrect answers
  • Branch a missed answer back to the section that explains it
  • Let the learner retry before moving to the next section

Reporting

See each learner’s results

Review completion, score, answers, attempts, clicks, and paths for each learner.

  • Send completion and score to your LMS over SCORM or xAPI
  • Export answers, attempts, and acknowledgements per learner
  • Open a learner record without combining data from separate tools

The report

See who understood the training

Completion tells you who finished. Mindstamp shows how each learner answered, where they struggled, and what they completed.

Standard completion report

94% complete

Most learners reached the end. That does not tell you how they answered or where they struggled.

Branching safety training for a hydrogen leak

The learner chooses an action, the video branches to the next step, and hotspots open the procedure documents.

Training FAQ

Questions about interactive video training

How LMS sync, learner access, progress rules, accessibility, and training records work.

Does completion sync to our LMS?

Yes. Mindstamp reports completion and score over SCORM and xAPI, so modules sit in the LMS your compliance team already reports from.

Do learners need an account?

No. Learners open a link or an embed. You can still capture their identity, answers, and completion without provisioning anyone.

Can we stop learners skipping to the end?

Yes. Seeking can be disabled and progress can be gated on a correct answer, so the module cannot be completed by dragging the scrubber.

Is it accessible?

Captions, keyboard operation, and screen reader labels are supported on the player and on every interaction, so modules meet the same standard as the rest of your training.

Do we have to re-record our existing videos?

No. Interactions sit on top of the file you already have. Mindstamp keeps the original unchanged.

How long is the record kept?

Per-view records persist in your account and export at any time, so evidence survives staff changes and audit cycles.
