Mindstamp help guide
Can I change a hotspot’s color and appearance?
Style a Mindstamp hotspot so viewers can discover it while preserving contrast, touch target size, and brand consistency.
Short answer
Use the video’s Design settings for the shared visual system, then adjust the selected hotspot’s available appearance controls. A hotspot may be subtle or transparent, but a required hotspot should have an obvious visual cue and a sufficiently large touch target.
How to do it
- Set the video’s shared brand colors in Design.
- Select the hotspot and inspect its per-interaction appearance controls.
- Choose a visible state that contrasts with both light and dark frames behind it.
- Preview at mobile size and verify the hit area is larger than the visible mark when appropriate.
Visibility is part of usability
Transparent hotspots work when the object clearly invites a click. For training steps, branching, or any required action, add a border, label, pulse, or instruction so viewers are not forced to hunt.
