Is Mindstamp an LMS, and which LMS platforms does it work with?

Short answer
No. Mindstamp is interactive video software, not a learning management system. It does not enroll learners, assign courses or keep transcripts. You deliver Mindstamp videos through your LMS with a SCORM package, an embed or a link, and Mindstamp records what each learner watched and answered.
Which LMS platforms work
Any LMS that imports SCORM 1.2 or SCORM 2004 packages should accept a Mindstamp SCORM package. This includes the common platforms that support those standards, such as Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard and Cornerstone.
Mindstamp does not publish a list of tested LMS platforms. Before you roll out a course, upload one package to your LMS and run it as a test learner. Check that completion and the score appear in the LMS gradebook or transcript.
Three ways to deliver a video in an LMS
- SCORM package (Core and higher plans): the LMS records completion and a score. Mindstamp records the full detail. The package passes the LMS learner name and ID to Mindstamp, so both systems show the same learner.
- Embed code: paste the iframe into an LMS page or lesson. Mindstamp records the view, but the LMS gradebook gets nothing. Identify learners with lead capture or URL parameters.
- Share link: link to the video from the course. This works the same as an embed for tracking.
What your LMS must allow
- The LMS must allow content in an iframe from the Mindstamp player address. A SCORM package and an embed both load the hosted video.
- Learners need an internet connection. A SCORM package does not contain the video file.
- If your LMS blocks outside content, ask your LMS administrator to allow the Mindstamp player domain before launch.
What Mindstamp does not do
- It does not export xAPI or cmi5. See xAPI and cmi5.
- It does not assign courses, send enrollment reminders or keep LMS transcripts.
- It does not replace your LMS reports. It adds question-level detail that most LMS reports do not show.
