How do I add a Mindstamp video to Workday Learning?

1. In Mindstamp, publish the video from its Share page if it is not published yet.
2. Under Export, select Download SCORM package. This needs a Core plan or higher.
3. Choose any version and a Completion Checkpoint of 10, 25, 50, 75, 90, 95 or 100 percent. Workday lists SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 2nd to 4th editions.
4. In the Workday course, add a Media lesson.
5. Upload the ZIP file as packaged content. If the course needs a grade, let this lesson provide the primary score.
6. Enroll a test learner, play past the checkpoint, and check the completion and the score.

Packaged content in the Workday mobile app stays off until an admin enables it for each platform. Workday lists Android 5 or later and iOS 11 or later. Ask your Workday admin to turn it on, then open the lesson again.

The Workday Packaged Content Tracking report shows interaction details for SCORM 2004 4th edition, and none for SCORM 1.2. The Mindstamp package sends completion and a score only, so read each answer in Mindstamp reports, and export them when you need a record.

Select Copy link on the Mindstamp Share page. In Workday, add an External Content lesson and paste the link in Content URL. Leave Enable External Completion off. When it is on, Workday records progress and grades for the lesson only from Lesson Trackings REST API statements, and Mindstamp sends none. Add lead capture to the video to see names in Mindstamp reports.

If you set Allowed embed domains in Mindstamp, add your Workday domain to the list. Otherwise learners see “Video not available: Code 617”. See restrict embed domains.
