LMS integration

Interactive video in Articulate 360

Add the Mindstamp player to a Storyline slide with a Web Object, or to a Rise lesson with an Embed block, and Mindstamp records each learner’s answers. The published course gets nothing from the video, so to put the score in your LMS or Reach 360, upload the Mindstamp SCORM package there as its own item.

As documented by Articulate 360. Documents checked October 5, 2026.

4.9/5Capterra
A Mindstamp example video. In Storyline, the same player shows inside a Web Object.

Three ways to add it

Choose by where the score must land

MethodWhere in Articulate 360What Articulate 360 recordsWhat Mindstamp records
Web Object or Embed blockStoryline: Insert, then Web Object, with the player address. Rise: an Embed block with the Basic iframe code.Only its own tracking, such as slides viewed. Nothing from the video.Every view, answer, click, and branch. Add lead capture to see names.
Share linkA link or button in the course, or a Storyline Web Object set to open a new browser window.Nothing about the video. The same data as the embed.
Mindstamp SCORM packageReach 360 or your LMS, as its own item beside the Storyline or Rise course.Nothing. The course does not get the score. The package sends completion and a score to the LMS.Each view, with the learner name and ID from the LMS.

Articulate 360 and Mindstamp

Storyline builds video interaction from cue points and triggers

Built into Articulate 360

Storyline, Rise, and Interactive Video

  • Storyline cue points that fire triggers, with layers and hotspots over the video.
  • Those triggers need a video from file. A Video from Website plays outside the slide timeline.
  • Rise video blocks with AI captions and an option to stop forward seeking. No questions inside the video.
  • Interactive Video, documented for Articulate 360 AI in September 2026, with AI chapters and checkpoints that pause for a knowledge check.

What a Mindstamp video adds

  • Questions, hotspots, and branching on one hosted video, with no layers or triggers to build.
  • Edits that show in every course at once, with no new publish.
  • Questions inside a Rise lesson, where video blocks ask none.
  • A score in Reach 360 or your LMS from the separate SCORM package.

Known issues

Check these before you publish

Blank in Storyline preview
Articulate says web objects cannot be previewed, and published output opened from your own computer fails too. Test the published course in Review 360 or your LMS.
Rise rejects the code
Rise shows “Please enter a valid URL or iframe” when there is text outside the iframe tags. Paste the Basic iframe code, not a script embed.
The course completes without the video
Storyline and Rise complete a course on their own rules, such as slides viewed. Use the SCORM package when completion must come from the video.
Video not available: Code 617
Your Mindstamp account limits embed domains. Add the domain where learners open the course.
