How do I put a Mindstamp video in an Adobe Captivate project?
Use a Web Object. In Captivate 13.2, it is under Add media blocks, and it takes a URL or embed code. In Captivate Classic, select Objects, then Web, and paste the address or an iframe. In both versions, use the Mindstamp Basic iframe code or the address inside it.
Can Captivate interactive video ask graded questions?
Adobe’s help shows a multiple-choice slide as an overlay at a bookmark. Classic help limits overlays to content slides and Knowledge Check slides, and Adobe community answers say graded quiz slides do not show in the overlay list. In Mindstamp, each question can have a correct answer that counts toward the score. That score reaches your LMS through the separate SCORM package.
Does the Captivate course record the Mindstamp score?
No. Adobe does not document tracking inside a web object, and Captivate reports its own slide views and quiz. The Mindstamp player sends nothing to the course around it. Upload the Mindstamp SCORM package to the LMS as its own item, and the LMS records completion and a score. See SCORM export.
Which standards does Captivate publish, and which does Mindstamp use?
Captivate publishes SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004, plus AICC and xAPI. Adobe does not list cmi5 and does not state the SCORM 2004 edition. Mindstamp exports SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 3rd and 4th editions, with no xAPI or cmi5. See xAPI and cmi5.
Should I use Captivate 13.2 or Captivate Classic?
Every Captivate subscription includes both, and Adobe gives no end date for Classic support. Both have a web object for the Mindstamp player. If your all-new Captivate shows no Web Object under Add media blocks, check the version: an Adobe community answer from December 2024 says 12.4 had none. The current version is 13.2.
