How do I add an interactive video to iSpring Suite?
Use the Web Object button on the iSpring Suite toolbar in PowerPoint. It takes embed code or a web address. Paste the Mindstamp Basic iframe code, or the address inside it, and show it in the slide or in a new browser window. A Show after delay can hold the player back for a set number of seconds.
Does iSpring Suite have interactive video?
iSpring Suite syncs video narration to slides and records screen video with iSpring Cam Pro. It also has quizzes and 14 interaction templates. iSpring does not document questions or hotspots placed on a video timeline. Mindstamp adds those inside the video, with branching between scenes.
Can I embed the video on an iSpring Learn page?
Yes. iSpring Learn Pages have an Embed element under Media on the toolbar. Paste the Mindstamp Basic iframe code or the player address and press Enter. Like a Suite web object, the page gets nothing back from the video, so answers and scores stay in Mindstamp reports.
Which SCORM version should I upload to iSpring Learn?
iSpring Learn uploads SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 packages of up to 3 GB and does not name the 2004 edition. Start with SCORM 1.2, or test one 2004 package. The Suite course has its own SCORM, xAPI, or cmi5 output, but the Mindstamp score does not reach it. See SCORM export.
Does the Mindstamp package know who the learner is?
Yes. The package passes the learner’s iSpring Learn name and ID to Mindstamp, so each answer in Mindstamp reports has a name. A Web Object in the Suite course does not: add lead capture to the video to see names there. See viewer identity.
