Can I add an interactive video to a Thinkific course?
Yes. Paste the Mindstamp player address into a Multimedia lesson in the classic builder, or into an Interactive or Web content block in the new builder. Thinkific shows the player inside the lesson, so learners answer the questions there.
Does Thinkific record the quiz score from the video?
Not from an embed. The embed sends answers and scores to Mindstamp reports only. On Thinkific Plus, import a Mindstamp SCORM package as a course, and Thinkific records completion and the score. Thinkific lists its SCORM reports as beta.
Which SCORM version should I use for Thinkific?
Use SCORM 2004 (4th edition) or SCORM 1.2. Thinkific documents those two versions and does not list SCORM 2004 (3rd edition). SCORM import needs Thinkific Plus and a Mindstamp Core plan or higher. See SCORM export.
Can Mindstamp show the Thinkific learner’s name?
Thinkific documents learner variables, such as {{email}}, that it can add to an external content address. Mindstamp reads name, email, and custom_id parameters in the player address. Check that a test learner appears in Mindstamp reports before rollout. If not, add lead capture to the video. See viewer identity.
Does Thinkific have its own interactive video?
Thinkific does not document questions or hotspots inside a video. It has video lessons with a completion setting, and separate quiz and survey lessons. Mindstamp adds questions, hotspots, and branching inside the video itself.
