Interactive video in 360Learning

Paste the Mindstamp Basic iframe code into a 360Learning course as an embedded document, and 360Learning records completion while Mindstamp records every answer and path. 360Learning says connected SCORM packages are not supported, and the Mindstamp package loads its video from Mindstamp, so test one before you rely on its score.

Three ways to add it

The embed is the safe route in 360Learning

MethodWhere in 360LearningWhat 360Learning recordsWhat Mindstamp records
Embed codeAdd activity, Add a document, Import tab, Paste an embed code. Iframe or embed tags only.Completion of the document. No score. Each view, answer, click, and branch. Add lead capture to see names.
Share linkNot documented. Paste a web link names public YouTube, Vimeo, and Dailymotion links, not Mindstamp. Not documented for a Mindstamp link.Views and answers in Mindstamp, if a learner opens the link.
SCORM packageCreate a course by importing an eLearning file. The package becomes the whole course.Completion and score, if the package runs. Test first. Each view, with the learner name and ID from 360Learning.

360Learning and Mindstamp

360Learning keeps questions in separate activities

Built into 360Learning

Video activities and questions

  • Video activities with start and end excerpts, subtitles, and 360-degree video.
  • Questions as separate activities, with AI-suggested questions.
  • Video Pitch and Screencast Demo, where the learner records an answer.

Added by Mindstamp

What Mindstamp adds to a course

  • Questions on the video itself, next to the separate question activities that experts write.
  • A practice path that branches on each learner’s choice before a Video Pitch exercise.
  • One report of every answer across all 360Learning groups that use the video.
  • Lead capture, so a link opened outside 360Learning still has a name on each answer.

Known issues

Check these before you publish

Long videos stop mid-session
360Learning suspends embedded documents after inactivity and advises documents under 15 minutes. Split long training into shorter videos, or warn learners before they start.
Connected packages are not supported
360Learning says packages that load content from another server are not supported, and their exit button may not close. Test one Mindstamp package first. If it fails, use the embed.
The player does not show
Paste an embed code takes iframe or embed tags only. The Responsive and Popout codes use a script, so copy the Basic iframe code.
Domain limits in the mobile app
360Learning says its mobile app sends no referring domain, so Vimeo domain limits fail there. When no address arrives, Mindstamp lets the video load, so Allowed embed domains neither blocks nor protects the video in the app. Leave the domain limit off if you rely on it for these videos.
