What is a video clip in Mindstamp?
Understand how a short video-in-video clip can play inside a Mindstamp experience without becoming a separate library video.
Short answer
A Video Clip is short video-in-video content that plays inside the original Mindstamp experience. Mindstamp’s current pricing FAQ says these clips are part of the basic interaction toolkit and do not count as separate uploads in the video library.
How to do it
- Prepare a short supporting clip and decide when a viewer should open it.
- Add the Video Clip interaction and upload or select the clip.
- Configure its available label, timing, layout, and playback behavior.
- Preview opening, playback, closing, captions, and return to the main video on desktop and mobile.
Use clips for focused supporting content
A demonstration, definition, product detail, or alternate-language explanation can be clearer as a short video than as a dense overlay. Keep the clip focused so it supports rather than interrupts the primary experience.
Clips are not separate library videos
The current pricing FAQ distinguishes video-in-video clips from individual video files added to the library. A branching destination is a separate library video; a short clip played inside the original experience is not.
