What is an audio clip in Mindstamp?
Use a short piece of audio as in-video content without sending the viewer to a separate page or player.
Short answer
An Audio Clip is short audio that plays inside a Mindstamp video experience. Mindstamp’s current pricing FAQ lists in-video audio clips in its basic interaction toolkit. Use a clip for a focused explanation, pronunciation, sound sample, or narration that should play without switching the main video.
How to do it
- Prepare the short audio segment and a clear label or trigger for it.
- Add the Audio Clip interaction at the intended timecode.
- Upload or select the clip and configure its available timing and playback behavior.
- Preview with headphones and speakers and verify that it does not compete with the main video audio.
Use audio when sound carries useful information
Pronunciation, music, a sound effect, or a short spoken explanation may be clearer than adding more on-screen copy. Provide a transcript or equivalent text so the experience does not depend on hearing alone.
