Can I use a different font on one button or text interaction?

Updated · 1 min read

Short answer

Yes. In the button or text interaction, go to Styling and choose a Font and a Weight. Video font keeps the font from the video's design, and any other choice changes this interaction only.

  1. Open the video, select Interactions, and open the button or text interaction.
  2. In Styling, open the Font list. Type part of a font name to find it.
  3. Choose Video font, a font you uploaded (marked Custom), or a Google Font.
  4. Choose a Weight, such as 400 Regular or 700 Bold. Default keeps the usual weight.
  5. Save, then play the video and check the text on a phone.

Which fonts are in the list

  • Video font: the font set in the video's Design. New interactions use it.
  • Fonts uploaded to the video's design, marked Custom. Upload them in Design with Add Custom Font, on Core and higher plans.
  • The 200 most popular Google Fonts. The player loads a font only when an interaction uses it.

A Google Font offers weights from 300 Light to 800 Extra bold. An uploaded font offers only the weights you uploaded. If you change to a font that does not have the weight you chose, the weight goes back to Default.

  • Use one or two fonts in a video, and keep the same font for the same kind of interaction.
  • Thin weights are hard to read over moving video. Check them on the lightest and darkest frames.
