Can I change how my buttons look?
Change button typography, size, layout, and visual treatment while keeping a consistent, accessible video design.
Short answer
Use the video’s Design settings to establish the shared button and interaction style, then adjust the selected Button interaction where per-button controls are available. Simple HTML can format interaction text, but shared design controls are easier to maintain across a video library.
How to do it
- Set the video’s shared colors and typography in Design.
- Select the Button and adjust its text, size, position, and available appearance controls.
- Use short action-oriented copy and preserve contrast in front of both light and dark frames.
- Preview hover, focus, pressed, and mobile states before publishing.
Design all states, not only the resting button
A button still needs to be recognizable when focused by keyboard, pressed, disabled, or shown over a different frame. Do not rely on color alone to communicate its state.
Keep a small system
One primary and one secondary treatment are usually enough. Many unrelated button styles make the experience look less trustworthy and weaken the meaning of the main action.
