Can I use Mindstamp videos on Webflow?

Short answer

Yes. Copy the Responsive embed code from the video’s Share page and paste it into a Webflow Code Embed element. The video keeps all its interactions and sends views to your Mindstamp reports.

How to do it

1. In Mindstamp, open the video, select Share, and publish it if needed.
2. Under Embed, choose Responsive and select Copy embed code.
3. In the Webflow Designer, open the Add panel and drag a Code Embed element onto the page where the video goes.
4. Paste the code into the code editor and select Save & Close.
5. Publish the Webflow site.
6. Open the published page in a private window and on a phone. Play the video and use each interaction.

Test on the published site

The Webflow Designer does not run all custom code. The player can look empty or show a placeholder in the Designer and still work on the published site. Always test on the published page.

Size and layout

• The Responsive code takes the full width of its parent. Put the Code Embed element inside a div block with the width you want.
• For a vertical 9:16 video, change `aspect-ratio:16/9` to `aspect-ratio:9/16` in the code’s style.
• To keep the page light, use the Popout code, which loads the player only when the viewer selects the thumbnail.

If Webflow rejects the code

• Webflow limits the length of a Code Embed. If you turned on Include SEO metadata and the video has a long transcript, the code can be too long. Turn the option off and copy the code again.
• Custom code availability depends on your Webflow plan. Check your Webflow plan if the Code Embed element is not available.

If the video does not load on the live site

If you use Allowed embed domains in Mindstamp, add your Webflow domain and your custom domain to the list. Viewers on a domain that is not on the list see “Video not available: Code 617”.
