What roles and permissions can team members have?
Mindstamp has an organization owner and members, per-video view and edit sharing, and Viewer, Analyst, and Admin roles inside groups.
Short answer
Each organization has one owner and any number of members, one per admin seat. Members see each other's videos only when a video's owner allows it. Inside a group, each person is a Viewer, an Analyst, or an Admin.

Organization roles
The Members page shows each person's role, video count, and last activity. Members who are not the owner see a short read-only Organization page.
- Owner: manages billing, the organization name, domains, design locking, and can transfer a member's videos when they leave.
- Member: creates videos, groups, and playlists, and works on shared videos. Each member uses one admin seat.
Share a video with other members
A new video belongs to the person who created it. To share it, open the video, select Settings, and go to Access & privacy.
- Organization members can view lets every member watch and see the video.
- Organization members can edit also lets them change it. It is available only when viewing is on.
Group roles
People you invite to a group by email get a groups-only account (shown as a limited account). It does not use an admin seat and shows only their groups.
- Viewer: watches the group's videos in Mindstamp.
- Analyst: also sees the group's reporting.
- Admin: also manages the group's videos, members, and settings.
Common setups
- A small team: turn on view and edit sharing on the videos everyone works on.
- A client who needs results: add them to a group as an Analyst.
- A department that should not see other work: give it its own group.
Change the owner
The app does not have an owner-transfer control. Contact support from the current owner's email to move ownership to another member.
