How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancel from Billing in Mindstamp. Your videos stay live until the paid period ends. Export reports first; data is deleted after a grace period.
Short answer
Open Billing, select Pause or cancel subscription, and follow the steps. The plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for, and your shared and embedded videos keep working until then.
How to do it
- Open Exports in the side menu and download the reports and viewer data you want to keep.
- Open the account menu and select Billing.
- At the bottom of the page, select Pause or cancel subscription.
- Read the summary of what the account holds, then select Continue to cancel.
- Answer the short question about why you are leaving.
- Select Cancel subscription. Mindstamp sends a confirmation email.
What happens next
- The Billing page shows Scheduled to cancel on with the end date of your paid period.
- Until that date, videos, share links, and embeds work as normal.
- After that date, viewers cannot load your videos, and exports stop.
- The Billing page then says your videos and data are saved for 60 days, with the exact date.
- After that period, everything in the account is deleted.
Change your mind
Before the end date, select Keep my subscription on the Billing page. After the end date, select the Reactivate button on the Billing page to bring your videos back online while the data is still saved.
Export first
Reports and viewer data are not sent to you when you cancel. Download what you need before the plan ends, because exports stop when the account is inactive.
Other options
Canceling does not give a refund for the current period. Refunds follow the Terms of Service.
- Pause the plan for a lower monthly price if you will be back.
- Move to a smaller plan if you use fewer videos or seats now.
- Talk to support if a missing feature is the reason. The team can check for a workaround.
