Where is Mindstamp data stored?

Mindstamp does not publish a fixed storage region or an EU data-residency option. If your review needs the storage and processing locations for your account, confirm them with the team during a security review.
How to do it
- Read the section "Transferring PD from the European Union" in the Privacy Policy.
- List the questions your review needs answered: storage location, processing location, subprocessors and encryption.
- Send them through the Enterprise page, or the contact form if you are on a self-service plan.
Where different kinds of data live
- Videos you link from YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia or other hosts stay with that host. Mindstamp reads the video from there and does not change the source file.
- Videos you upload to Mindstamp are stored and streamed by Mindstamp.
- Interactions, designs, viewer responses and reports are stored in your Mindstamp account.
- Data you send to an integration, such as HubSpot, Zapier or a webhook, is also stored by that service under its own terms.
Subprocessors
The Privacy Policy lists the kinds of service providers Mindstamp uses, such as payment processors and web analytics. It does not name each company. Ask for the list during a security review.
Common procurement questions
- EU data residency: not offered as a published option.
- FERPA and COPPA: Mindstamp makes no published claim. The Privacy Policy says the website is not designed for anyone under 16.
- Encryption at rest: not described in the published documents. Ask during the review.
