Update, October 2026: Groups still share selected videos and their reports with a set of people, such as a team, a class, or a client. A few details have changed since we launched them in 2020. Groups are now on Core and higher plans. Each person in a group has one of three roles: a Viewer watches the group's videos, an Analyst also sees the group's reports, and an Admin also manages the group's videos, people, and settings. People you invite by email get a groups-only login that does not use an admin seat. Mindstamp does not email members when you add a video; they find it under Groups when they sign in. Today, we're launching Groups on Mindstamp to support interactive video learning, collaboration, and engagement.
Groups allow a trainer, educator, or organization to share interactive and personalized video content with a specific set of people, engage them through questions, drawings, and comments, and then measure results in detailed reports.
Each Group has a dedicated and private video library, member list, one or more administrators, and custom settings.
Groups make it simple to share content with a group of employees, students, or separate teams within an organization. New videos published to a Group are available to all Group members right away, and you can unpublish or remove them just as easily. Likewise, you can add or remove Group members with a click.
For educators or trainers, Groups make it easy to turn a video into an interactive lesson with a full report for every play. The report shows how each person, and the Group as a whole, interacted with the content. At a glance, the video owner can gauge participation and understanding without a separate quiz after the video.
Group Admins make it simple for a course assistant, teaching partner, team leader, or trainer to further personalize their Group's videos, monitor progress, and interact directly with their specific audience.
With Groups, it's easier to use Mindstamp for personalized video in education, training, and audience interactions, in the classroom and the conference room.
Get started
Groups are available on Core and higher plans. In the app, open Groups from the side menu and select New group. Add videos on the Videos tab, then add people on the People tab: add team members who already have an account, or invite people by email and choose a role for each. As members watch, their views appear in the group's Reporting tab. To give a client the reports for only their videos, invite them as an Analyst; our help article on sharing reports with clients walks through it.
