5 Tips for Creating Better Video Training

Remote training through video is hard. Learners are faced with an endless amount of distractions at any given moment, making it harder than ever to keep their attention and ensure they are actively understanding the material.

Here are 5 quick tips to help you leverage interactive video to increase engagement, participation, and retention from your remote training programs.

1. Add Interactive Questions Throughout the Video

Instead of simply adding questions at the end, you can use Mindstamp to repeatedly measure understanding as the video proceeds. Questions stop the video, ask for a response, and can both measure correctness and take actions based on their answer. When a viewer knows that participation is being measured, they are significantly more likely to pay attention to the whole video.
