Update, October 2026: Four of these May 2024 features work today much as described here, and one has changed. The Facebook Pixel connection is on Core and higher plans. Prevent pausing is now under Playback in a video's Settings. Group Analysts still see their group's reports, and an Analyst you invite by email does not use an admin seat. Articles open with the Show Article click action. Multi-video upload is the change: the current uploader adds one video at a time. Our help articles on roles and permissions and click actions describe the Analyst role and Show Article as they work now.
We're halfway through the year, and we're excited to share some recent enhancements to the Mindstamp platform with you.
Facebook Pixel integration
Track and analyze how viewers interact with your videos. By adding your Facebook Pixel, you can measure views, interactions, and leads captured directly from your videos. This feature is available on Core and higher plans. Set it up for all videos under Integrations in the side menu, or for one video in that video's Integrations tab. See all Mindstamp integrations.
Prevent pausing
Gain more control over how your videos are viewed with our "Prevent pausing" option, now found in the video's Settings under Playback. This feature makes viewers watch your content without interruptions, for a fully controlled viewing experience. Use it only when you must, because viewers who need more time cannot stop the video; our accessibility help article explains the trade-off.
Multi-video upload
When we released this in May 2024, multi-video upload let you upload up to 10 videos at the same time instead of one at a time. The current uploader adds one video at a time.
Group Analyst role
We've introduced a new role type: Group Analyst. It's ideal for external clients or team members who need access to reporting and analytics without the ability to manage video content. An Analyst can watch the group's videos and see the group's reports. A person you invite to a group by email does not use an admin seat, which keeps costs down for larger teams. Our help article on sharing reports with clients shows the setup, and our 2020 post on launching Groups covers where groups started.
In-video articles
Now you can enhance your videos with our latest asset type, which overlays rich, informative content directly on your videos. Add custom articles in a visual editor, with everything from text and images to embedded videos. Articles work well for linking additional documents or detailed explanations, and you can reuse them across multiple videos to give viewers context right when they need it. To show one, give a button, hotspot, image, or text the Show Article click action.
