How do I connect Mindstamp to Google Sheets?
Connect it on each video, with a Google account and an existing spreadsheet. Mindstamp lists the connection as Google Drive. Open the video, select Integrations, select Connect on the Google Drive card, then select Connect Google Drive. Pick a spreadsheet and sheet tab for Views, Interactions, or Viewers. See how to send video results to Google Sheets for each step.
Which Mindstamp plan includes Google Sheets?
Every Mindstamp plan, with no Zapier account. See pricing for what else each plan includes.
Do anonymous viewers get rows in Google Sheets?
Yes. Views and interactions from anonymous viewers get rows too, with the name and email columns empty. To see who watched, add lead capture to the video.
When do rows appear in the sheet?
After the view ends, which is when the video ends, the viewer reaches 100 percent, or 2 minutes pass with no activity. Allow for some delay after that. Mindstamp updates rows that have the same ID and puts new rows at the top, under the header. To react to each answer during playback, use player events on your page, on Core and higher.
Can I see each quiz answer and score in Google Sheets?
Yes. Pick a tab for Interactions, and each answer gets its own row with the correct answer and whether the viewer got it right. The Views tab adds participation and correctness scores for each view.
Should I use the direct connection, Google Forms, or Zapier?
Use the direct connection for a log of one video’s results. Google Forms saves responses to Sheets too, but it shows a YouTube video only before or after a question. Use Zapier, on Core and higher, to send views, interactions, and leads from many videos to Sheets or another app. Zapier checks for new records on a schedule.
