A certificate does its job when the recipient wants to keep it and a third party takes it seriously. Both reactions come from the same design decisions: a restrained layout with one accent color, generous margins, a clear hierarchy: title, recipient, achievement: and the two lines that signal accountability, a date and a named signer with their role.
The three styles apply those decisions in different ways. Classic uses a serif face and a double border for formal and compliance work. Modern uses a bold sans serif and one accent band for product academies and workplace programs. Minimal uses a thin frame. Each style reduces long names and course titles to prevent clipping.
Batch mode supports group certification. Paste the roster to create one certificate for each learner. The tool exports the named PNG files in one zip. Your browser renders the files locally, and no roster upload occurs.
One honest limitation: a designed certificate certifies that you issued it, not that the learner earned it. When the certificate must be backed by evidence: who watched, what they answered, what they scored: that is issuance, not design, and it is what Mindstamp does automatically when a viewer completes an interactive video.
