Happy May! We hope you're well. We're excited to share what we've been working on this past month.
Questions added at the same time in the video now group into a single Question Set.
You can ask a series of questions without resuming the video. Perfect for soliciting multiple pieces of feedback to assess knowledge, gather information, or drive actions.
As a video owner, your experience can differ from that a guest viewer. We've made it easier for you see exactly what your viewer will experience by adding a Preview Mode.
Located near your other video management controls, Preview Mode will open your video in a new tab as a Guest user.
Data collected here will be included in your dashboard and reports so you can analyze how it will look coming from real viewers, including all responses and clicks.
We've added Play Video Clip and Play Audio Clip actions to all interactions including buttons, hotspots, and questions.
You can now set your interactions to play a clip on click. Clips are under 60 seconds, live in your asset library and are able to be overlaid on your primary videos.
Upload once, use wherever. Try it today.
Online video comes with many tradeoffs - not all videos work on all devices and browsers, and not all viewers have the same internet connection speeds. For Core and Pro customers in the past, we have automatically processed video uploads to combat this, sometimes at the expense of quality if a connection is poor.
Now, you can choose whether you would like us to convert your videos or you would rather us use the original input file and maintain full quality, knowing that playback might be affected. Additionally, you can choose whether or not you'd like a transcript to be generated for your video. Both of these settings are found on the video upload screen.
We're working on a few things right now that we're excited to share with you:
We continue to see increased demand for interactive video tools and the ability to create content that engages viewers and drives action. We’re excited to innovate and improve to meet these needs, and we thank you for your interest in Mindstamp.
