Mindstamp help guide

How do I add a button to my video?

Place a button on the Mindstamp timeline, configure its label and timing, and choose what happens when it is clicked.

Checked against the current Help Center and Mindstamp 4.0 walkthroughs.

Short answer

Move the playhead to the moment the button should appear, add a Button interaction, position and style it, set its duration, and choose a click action. Preview the result in the published player rather than relying only on the editor canvas.

How to do it

  1. Add a Button at the intended timecode.
  2. Write a specific label and position it away from captions and player controls.
  3. Set the start, end, and optional pause or require-click behavior.
  4. Choose and configure the click action.
  5. Preview on desktop and mobile and verify reporting.

A button needs a clear outcome

A visible button without a well-defined action creates noise. Decide whether the click opens a link, moves within the video, branches, captures information, or sets a variable before choosing the label.
