Interactive video
Turn a transcript into a build-ready interaction plan: what each interaction says, where it sits, and what happens on every response.
What it does
The blueprint is an implementation document: exact wording, exact placement, exact response behavior.
The full question text, every choice, the button label, the branch prompt: written out, not described.
What happens on a correct answer, a wrong answer, and each branch choice: continue, replay, or jump.
Interactions appear only where they serve your stated goal. A moment with nothing to confirm gets nothing.
How to use it
In depth
An interactive video is a small piece of instructional design. Every interaction answers three questions: why this moment, what exactly appears, and what happens next for each possible response. Most teams skip the third question, and the result is interactions that interrupt without routing: a question the video ignores regardless of the answer.
The blueprint answers all three questions for each interaction. A wrong answer can send the viewer back to the timestamp where a safety rule was taught. A branch lists the destination for each role or product choice. A resource lists the moment that triggers it.
Interaction density is a real decision, so the tool asks for it. Light means the video is interrupted only where the stakes are high. Highly interactive means every teachable moment carries a confirmation: the right choice for compliance training, the wrong one for a product tour.
The plan is written to hand off. Anyone on your team can implement it in Mindstamp without having seen the source video, because every interaction carries its placement, content, and behavior.
Questions
The analyzer surveys where interaction would help, with reasoning. The blueprint commits: it writes each interaction in full, with response behavior, so you can build without further decisions.
Yes. When the transcript has timestamps, incorrect responses can route back to the moment the concept was taught: the same behavior Mindstamp implements natively.
Light plans interrupt only at high-stakes moments. Moderate covers each major concept. Highly interactive confirms every teachable moment. Pick the one that matches how much friction your audience accepts.
No. The plan is plain text and works with any interactive video platform. It maps one-to-one onto Mindstamp interactions, which is the fastest way to build it.
