Paste the Mindstamp player address into a Thinkific lesson, and Mindstamp records each answer, click, and branch while Thinkific shows the player inside the course. In Mindstamp, publish the video from its **Share** page. 2. Under **Embed**, choose **Basic iframe** and copy the code. Keep only the address inside src. It starts with https. 3. In Thinkific’s new course builder, open the lesson, select **More**, then **Interactive** or **Web content**. In the classic builder, add a **Multimedia** lesson and select **Use externally hosted content**. 4. Paste the address, then select **Embed** or **Save**. 5. Preview the lesson as a learner on a computer and on a phone. You cannot add a package as one lesson in the course builder. 1. On the Mindstamp **Share** page, under **Export**, select **Download SCORM package**. This needs a Core plan or higher. 2. In **SCORM Version**, choose **SCORM 2004 (4th edition)** or **SCORM 1.2**. Thinkific does not list the 3rd edition. 3. In **Completion Checkpoint**, choose 10, 25, 50, 75, 90, 95 or 100 percent. The 80 and 85 percent options do not record completion. 4. In Thinkific Plus, import the ZIP file as a SCORM course. Do not unzip it. 5. Enroll a test learner and watch past the checkpoint. Then open **Analytics**, **Engagement**, and the **SCORM** tab. ## Thinkific has no questions inside the video ### Course structure and completion - Video lessons with a Video Completion Required setting that marks a lesson complete at a watched percentage. - Quizzes and surveys as separate lessons, outside the video. - Learner variables, such as first name and email, that it can add to an embedded address. ### Interaction inside the video - Questions, buttons, and hotspots at set moments in the video. - Branching that skips a section a learner already knows. - Lead capture and a report of every answer by learner. - One hosted video that also works in another LMS or on your website. ## Check these before you publish ### Blank lesson on Android Thinkific says media that plays by itself can show a blank or gray screen in Android browsers. Turn off Autoplay (muted) on the Mindstamp Share page, then copy the address again. ### White screen Thinkific shows only secure content. Use the address from the Mindstamp embed code. It starts with https. ### Video not available: Code 617 Your Mindstamp account limits embed domains. Add your Thinkific school domain to Allowed embed domains. ### Completion is manual The embed does not tell Thinkific that the video ended, so learners select Complete & Continue. Use a SCORM course on Thinkific Plus when completion must come from the video. ## Thinkific interactive video FAQ ### Can I add an interactive video to a Thinkific course? Yes. Paste the Mindstamp player address into a Multimedia lesson in the classic builder, or into an Interactive or Web content block in the new builder. Thinkific shows the player inside the lesson, so learners answer the questions there. ### Does Thinkific record the quiz score from the video? Not from an embed. The embed sends answers and scores to Mindstamp reports only. On Thinkific Plus, import a Mindstamp SCORM package as a course, and Thinkific records completion and the score. Thinkific lists its SCORM reports as beta. ### Which SCORM version should I use for Thinkific? Use SCORM 2004 (4th edition) or SCORM 1.2. Thinkific documents those two versions and does not list SCORM 2004 (3rd edition). SCORM import needs Thinkific Plus and a Mindstamp Core plan or higher. Thinkific documents learner variables, such as {{email}}, that it can add to an external content address. Mindstamp reads name, email, and custom_id parameters in the player address. Check that a test learner appears in Mindstamp reports before rollout. If not, add lead capture to the video. Thinkific does not document questions or hotspots inside a video. It has video lessons with a completion setting, and separate quiz and survey lessons.
