Documents checked September 30, 2026. Paste the Mindstamp embed code into a Custom Code block in a Teachable lesson, on the Basic plan or higher, and Mindstamp records each answer, click, and branch. Teachable does not import SCORM packages. | Not available. | Not available. | ## Add the video to a lesson ### Paste the code in a Custom Code block 1. In Mindstamp, publish the video from its **Share** page. 2. Under **Embed**, choose **Responsive** and select **Copy embed code**. It scales to the width of the lesson. 3. In Teachable, open the lesson and select **Add content**, then **Advanced Tools**, then **Custom Code**. 4. Paste the code and select **Save**. 5. Read scores in Mindstamp reports instead. 1. Add lead capture at the start of the video, so each student enters a name and email. 2. Set a correct answer on each question, so Mindstamp scores each student. 3. Open **Reporting** in Mindstamp to see each student’s answers and score. Export them as a CSV file when you need a record. ## Teachable quizzes sit outside the video ### Lessons, quizzes, and video blocks - Video blocks for uploaded, YouTube, or Vimeo video, with captions. - Quizzes as separate blocks, outside the video. - Video completion rules for video that Teachable hosts. ### Questions at the moment they matter - Questions, buttons, and hotspots at set times in the video. - Branching that changes the next scene based on an answer. - A score and every answer for each identified student. - Lead capture inside the player, before or during the video. ## Check these before you publish ### No Custom Code block The Free plan does not include Custom Code. Teachable lists it on the Basic plan and higher. ### Odd sizing in the iOS app Teachable fixed a custom code overflow bug in iOS app version 3.5.1. Use the Responsive code and check the lesson in the app. ### No help from Teachable support Teachable support does not troubleshoot custom code. Check the code on the Mindstamp Share page first. ### Video not available: Code 617 Your Mindstamp account limits embed domains. Add your Teachable school domain to Allowed embed domains. ## Teachable interactive video FAQ ### Can I add an interactive video to a Teachable course? Yes, on the Basic plan or higher. Add a Custom Code block to the lesson and paste the Mindstamp embed code. The player keeps all its interactions inside the lesson. ### Does Teachable support SCORM? No. Teachable does not import SCORM packages. Mindstamp keeps each student’s answers and score in its own reports, and you can export them as CSV files. Teachable documents the Embed Media block for known providers such as Vimeo, YouTube, and Loom. Use the Custom Code block for a Mindstamp video. ### Will Teachable mark the lesson complete when the video ends? No. Teachable’s video completion rules apply to video that Teachable hosts. With an embed, students select Complete & continue. ### How do I know which student watched? The embed does not receive the Teachable student account.
