Add a Mindstamp SCORM package as a content object with the SCORM launch method, and SAP SuccessFactors Learning records completion and a score through the Content Player. If you set **Allowed embed domains** in Mindstamp and a package shows Code 617, add that content server domain as well as your SuccessFactors domain. See [restrict embed domains](https://mindstamp.com/help/restrict-embed-domains). ### Open the player address in the LMS frame SuccessFactors Learning takes a content URL, not embed code. It shows the page in a frame inside the LMS, or in a separate browser window. 1. In Mindstamp, publish the video from its **Share** page. 2. Under **Embed**, choose **Basic iframe** and select **Copy embed code**. Keep only the address inside src. It starts with https. 3. In SuccessFactors Learning, add a content object to the item and choose the **Browser** launch method. 4. Paste the address as the content URL. Keep it in the LMS frame, or tick **Launch in a New Browser Window**. A search summary of SAP’s course names a frame size of 20 to 100 percent of the window; check the field in your system. 5. Launch the item as a test learner in Chrome and in Safari. On the Mindstamp **Share** page, under **Export**, select **Download SCORM package**. This needs a Core plan or higher. 2. In **SCORM Version**, choose **SCORM 2004 (4th edition)** or **SCORM 1.2**. 3. In **Completion Checkpoint**, choose 10, 25, 50, 75, 90, 95 or 100 percent. The 80 and 85 percent options do not record completion. 4. Add the ZIP file to the item as a content object with the **SCORM** launch method. SAP says content packages are essential for SCORM 2004, so ask your admin how your system imports them. 5. Assign the item to a test learner, play past the checkpoint, and check the completion and the score. ## SAP points to partner apps, such as Bites, for interactive video ### Items and content objects - Content objects that launch in the Content Player, a Browser frame, or a new window. - Video as plain content, with no questions inside it. - Partner apps, such as Bites, for interactive video learning. ### What Mindstamp adds to an item - Questions inside the video, with no partner app to contract. - A scenario that branches on each learner’s choice in a sales or service role-play. - A Content Player score, with every answer by learner in Mindstamp. - One hosted video that you update without a new content import. ## Check these before you publish ### The new window is blocked With Launch in a New Browser Window ticked, a pop-up blocker can stop the video. Allow pop-ups for your SuccessFactors site, or use the LMS frame. ### The embed does not know the learner An embed never receives the SuccessFactors identity, and browsers also partition third-party storage in the LMS frame. Add lead capture, or use SCORM, which passes the learner name and ID. ### Video not available: Code 617 Your Mindstamp account limits embed domains. Add your SuccessFactors domain, and the content server domain for SCORM packages. ### A Browser object sends no score The player address reports nothing to SuccessFactors. Use the SCORM launch method when the item needs a score. ## SAP SuccessFactors Learning interactive video FAQ ### Can I add an interactive video to SAP SuccessFactors Learning? Yes. Add a Mindstamp SCORM package as a content object with the SCORM launch method, and the Content Player records completion and a score. You can also open the player address in a Browser content object, which shows the video in a frame inside the LMS. ### Does SuccessFactors Learning support LTI? No. SAP knowledge base article 2830483 says SuccessFactors Learning does not support LTI, and lists it as an enhancement request. Mindstamp has no LTI tool either. Use a SCORM content object. ### Which SCORM version should I use for SuccessFactors? Use SCORM 2004 4th edition or SCORM 1.2 for SuccessFactors. SAP names SCORM 2004 4th edition, and partner listings add SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 3rd edition. Copy the address from inside the Mindstamp **Basic iframe** code and paste it as the URL of a Browser content object. SAP describes this launch method for web pages that you track or only display. ### Does SuccessFactors Learning have interactive video? SAP treats video as plain content and points to partners, such as Bites, for interactive video learning.
