Documents checked September 30, 2026. Paste the Mindstamp embed code into a Custom HTML block in a LearnDash lesson or topic, and Mindstamp records each learner’s answers. LearnDash core does not import SCORM. | Completion and a score, through the add-on. | Each view, with the learner name and ID that the add-on passes. | ## Add the video to a lesson ### unfiltered_html capability WordPress removes iframe code that users without the **unfiltered_html** capability save. Administrators and Editors have it on a single site. On Multisite, only Super Admins have it. WordPress.com sites need a paid plan with hosting features for iframes. ### Paste the code in a Custom HTML block 1. In Mindstamp, publish the video from its **Share** page. 2. Under **Embed**, choose **Responsive** and select **Copy embed code**. 3. In WordPress, edit the LearnDash lesson or topic and add a **Custom HTML** block. 4. Paste the code, then select **Update**. 5. View the lesson as a test student on a computer and on a phone. Tin Canny by Uncanny Owl and GrassBlade xAPI Companion are both paid. 1. On the Mindstamp **Share** page, under **Export**, select **Download SCORM package**. This needs a Core plan or higher. 2. In **SCORM Version**, choose **SCORM 1.2** or a SCORM 2004 edition that your add-on lists. 3. In **Completion Checkpoint**, choose 10, 25, 50, 75, 90, 95 or 100 percent. The 80 and 85 percent options do not record completion. 4. Upload the ZIP file with the add-on and place it in a lesson or topic. Follow the add-on’s own guide. 5. Run the lesson as a test student and check the LearnDash report. ## LearnDash tracks progress for the video hosts it lists ### Video Progression - Auto-completes a lesson after the video ends, for Vimeo, YouTube, Wistia, and other listed hosts. - Can hide Mark Complete until the video ends, and add a completion delay. - Quizzes as separate LearnDash steps, outside the video. ### Interaction inside the video - Questions, hotspots, and buttons at set times in the video. - Branching that sends each learner down a different path. - Lead capture that names viewers who are not logged in to WordPress. - A report of every answer, click, and path by learner. ## Check these before you publish ### The iframe disappears on save The user who saved the lesson does not have the unfiltered_html capability. Ask an Administrator, or a Super Admin on Multisite, to add the block. ### Video Progression does not finish LearnDash runs Video Progression only for the hosts it lists, and Mindstamp is not one of them. Expect the Mark Complete button to stay. ### The player has the wrong width Theme and page builder styles can change iframe width. Use the Responsive code, which keeps a 16:9 shape. ### The player does not load Some security plugins and hosts block third-party frames. Check the site’s Content Security Policy and its Allowed embed domains entry in Mindstamp. ## LearnDash interactive video FAQ ### Can I add an interactive video to a LearnDash course? Yes. Add a **Custom HTML** block to the lesson or topic and paste the Mindstamp embed code. The user who saves it needs the WordPress unfiltered_html capability. ### Does LearnDash support SCORM? Not in LearnDash core. LearnDash documents SCORM 1.2 and 2004 through add-ons such as Tin Canny by Uncanny Owl and GrassBlade xAPI Companion. The add-on records completion and scores in LearnDash. ### Can I paste the code in the Video Progression field? The Video URL field accepts iframe code, so the player can show there. LearnDash runs its auto-complete features only for listed hosts such as Vimeo, YouTube, and Wistia, so expect learners to select Mark Complete. ### Should I use H5P in LearnDash instead? H5P Interactive Video works in WordPress through the H5P plugin, and GrassBlade can track it. Mindstamp adds lead capture, webhooks, and one report for a video that you also use outside WordPress. Add lead capture to the video, or use a SCORM add-on that passes the learner name and ID.
