Facts checked October 12, 2026. In Mindstamp, connect Google Drive on a video, with no Zapier account, and pick a sheet tab for views, interactions, or viewers. If the video owner has not connected Google Drive, no rows arrive and Mindstamp shows no error. Sign in as the owner and select **Connect Google Drive**. ### Connect Google Drive on the video 1. In Google Sheets, create a spreadsheet with one tab for each record type you want. 2. Sign in to Mindstamp as the video owner. 3. Open the video, then select **Integrations**. 4. On the **Google Drive** card, select **Connect**. 5. Select **Connect Google Drive**, then approve access in the Google window. In the **Views**, **Interactions**, or **Viewers** row, select **Select Spreadsheet**. 2. Pick your spreadsheet in the Google file picker. 3. Choose the sheet tab, then select **Confirm Selection**. 4. Repeat for each record type, with a different tab each time. 5. Play the published video to its end. 6. Open the sheet and check for the new row under the header. ## Other ways to get video results into a sheet ### Google Forms and Zapier - Google Forms can show a YouTube video before or after a question, but not inside one. - Forms saves each response to a linked Google Sheet as a table. - Zapier checks Mindstamp for new views, interactions, and leads on Core and higher, and sends them to Sheets or another app. ### What the direct connection gives you - Questions, buttons, and hotspots inside the video, with each answer on its own row. - Watch percentage and scores for each view, next to the viewer’s details. - No Zapier account, on every Mindstamp plan. ## Check these before you rely on the data ### Written after the view ends Rows never appear during playback. They arrive some time after the viewer stops, so allow for that delay before you check the sheet. ### Columns can shift Mindstamp rebuilds the header from the latest view, so older rows can fall out of line when you change questions or variables. Keep one sheet per video and do not add your own columns. ### The tab is rewritten from A1 Each sync rewrites the whole tab, with new rows at the top under the header. Keep formulas and notes on a separate tab. ### No error messages in Mindstamp Mindstamp does not retry a failed write or show the error. After the view ends, which is when the video ends, the viewer reaches 100 percent, or 2 minutes pass with no activity. Allow for some delay after that. Mindstamp updates rows that have the same ID and puts new rows at the top, under the header. Yes. Pick a tab for **Interactions**, and each answer gets its own row with the correct answer and whether the viewer got it right. The **Views** tab adds participation and correctness scores for each view. ### Should I use the direct connection, Google Forms, or Zapier? Use the direct connection for a log of one video’s results. Google Forms saves responses to Sheets too, but it shows a YouTube video only before or after a question.
