Documents checked October 5, 2026. Paste the Mindstamp Basic iframe code into an Easygenerator HTML block, which takes iframe code but no JavaScript. This is the documented route to questions inside a course video, and your LMS gets the video score only from a separate Mindstamp SCORM package, since the Easygenerator course receives nothing from the player. ## Choose by where the answers must go | Method | Where in Easygenerator | What Easygenerator records | What Mindstamp records | | --- | --- | --- | --- | | HTML block | Embed tab, then an HTML block with the Basic iframe code. In Mindstamp, publish the video from its **Share** page. 2. Under **Embed**, choose **Basic iframe** and copy the code. It has no script, and Easygenerator disables JavaScript in the HTML block. 3. On the Easygenerator content page, select the **Embed** tab in the left menu. 4. Drag an **HTML block** into the layout. 5. Paste the code into the HTML block. 6. Change the iframe width and height to fit the page. 7. Preview the page. 8. Play the video as a learner in the published course. The Mindstamp player sends nothing to that course, so the package goes to the LMS as a separate item. 1. On the Mindstamp **Share** page, under **Export**, select **Download SCORM package**. This needs a Core plan or higher. 2. In **SCORM Version**, match your LMS. If the Easygenerator course already runs there as SCORM 2004 4th edition, choose the same. 3. In **Completion Checkpoint**, choose 10, 25, 50, 75, 90, 95 or 100 percent. The 80 and 85 percent options do not record completion. 4. Add the ZIP file to the LMS that runs your Easygenerator course, as a second course. 5. Run both courses as a test learner. 6. Check the video score in the LMS. ## EasyVideo puts its questions before and after the video ### Easygenerator video - Video blocks for uploads of up to 2 GB, with in-app recording and subtitles. - EasyVideo, which Easygenerator’s own blog rates “low” for in-video interactivity. Learners answer questions before and after the video. - Easygenerator help, as of October 5, 2026, documents no pauses or questions inside a video. - Publishing as SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004 4th edition, or xAPI, or as a link. ### Questions during the video - Questions at the moment a point is made. - Voice and video response questions, and branching. Easygenerator’s blog lists both for Mindstamp. - Each learner’s answers in Mindstamp reports. - A video score your LMS can record, through the Mindstamp SCORM package. ## Check these before you publish ### The HTML block is empty Easygenerator disables JavaScript in the HTML block, so the scripts in the Responsive and Popout codes do not run. Paste the Basic iframe code, which has no script. ### Content behind a login fails Easygenerator says to embed content open to everyone or to anyone with the link. Links that need a login show an error. Keep the Mindstamp video open to anyone with the link, and use Allowed embed domains to limit where it plays. ### No score in the course The Easygenerator course records nothing from the player. Use the SCORM package in your LMS when the score counts. ### Video not available: Code 617 The course domain is not in Allowed embed domains, a Mindstamp account setting. Add it, whether that is your LMS or the address of a course shared as a link. ## Easygenerator interactive video FAQ ### Can I add an interactive video to an Easygenerator course? Yes, with an **HTML block** from the **Embed** tab in the left menu. Paste the Mindstamp **Basic iframe** code into the block. Learners then answer each question on the content page itself. ### Why does the Responsive embed code fail in Easygenerator? Because Easygenerator disables JavaScript in the HTML block, and the Responsive code loads the player with a script. The Popout code has the same problem. The Basic iframe code has no script, so use that one, and set its width and height to fit your layout. ### Does Easygenerator have interactive video? In a limited way, by Easygenerator’s own account. Its blog, updated September 2026, rates the in-video interactivity of EasyVideo as “low”, with questions before and after the video. Easygenerator help documents video blocks with recording and subtitles, but no questions inside the video. The same post lists Mindstamp for voice and video response questions and branching. ### Does the Easygenerator course record the video score? No. The embedded player sends nothing to the Easygenerator course, whether you publish it as SCORM or xAPI. Upload the Mindstamp SCORM package to your LMS as its own item. It sends completion and a score, the percent of questions answered correctly, and passes the learner’s LMS name and ID to Mindstamp. No. Easygenerator publishes xAPI as well as SCORM, but Mindstamp exports SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 3rd and 4th editions only.
