Facts checked October 12, 2026. Link your Constant Contact account to Mindstamp, then turn on sync for each video and pick the lists a viewer joins or leaves. Webhooks or Zapier can carry answers to other tools. | Not sent | ## Link your account, then turn on sync for each video ### Mindstamp uses the video owner’s link When a view ends, Mindstamp sends the contact through the Constant Contact account that the video’s owner linked. If the owner has no link, Mindstamp sends nothing for that video, so each video owner links an account. ### Link your Constant Contact account 1. In Mindstamp, open **Integrations**. 2. On the **Constant Contact** card, select **Connect**. 3. Check the status next to the page title. It shows **Connected** when your account is linked. 4. If it shows **Not Connected**, contact Mindstamp support to link your Constant Contact account. 5. Your Constant Contact lists load on the page. After you add a list in Constant Contact, select **Refresh Data**. ### Turn on sync and pick the lists Constant Contact gets only viewers who give a name and an email, so first turn on [lead capture](https://mindstamp.com/help/how-do-i-capture-name-email-or-phone-number-in-my-mindstamp-video) with both fields. 1. Open the video, select **Integrations**, then select **Manage** on the **Constant Contact** card. 2. Turn on **Sync leads to Constant Contact**. 3. Under **Add to Lists**, check each list the viewer should join. Use **Search lists** to find a list. 4. Under **Remove from Lists**, check each list the viewer should leave. A list checked in one box does not show in the other. 5. Mindstamp saves each change. Play the published video with a test name and email, then let the view end. 6. In Constant Contact, open the contact and check its name and lists. ## Constant Contact sync next to webhooks and Zapier ### Webhooks and Zapier - Webhooks post the view, with every answer, to your own code after the view ends. View webhooks start on Core, and interaction and lead webhooks start on Pro. - Zapier checks for new views, interactions, and viewers on Core and higher, and passes them to the other apps in your Zap. ### What the Constant Contact link gives you - A contact added or updated by email, with no code and no other tool. - List adds and removals that you pick for each video. - Sync on every Mindstamp plan. ## Check these before you rely on the data ### Name and email required Mindstamp sends nothing unless the viewer gives both a name and an email. Ask for both in lead capture. ### Sent after the view ends Constant Contact gets nothing during playback. A view ends when the video ends, at 100 percent, or after 2 minutes with no activity, and delivery can take longer than that. ### An update can clear other fields For a contact that already exists, Mindstamp uses Constant Contact’s full update, with only the email, name, and lists. Constant Contact’s API guide says this update sets any core field missing from the request to empty, such as job title, company name, birthday, and anniversary. Test with one existing contact first. ### No retry and no delivery log Mindstamp logs a failed call only on its side and does not try again. After the view ends, which is when the video ends, the viewer reaches 100 percent, or 2 minutes pass with no activity. Allow for some delay after that. Each later view by the same viewer updates the contact again. ### Can each video use different lists? Yes. The list choices belong to the video.
