When a view ends, Mindstamp adds the viewer to ClickFunnels as a contact by email, and on Pro and higher it applies tags from buttons and saves answers in contact attributes. The Launch plan does not list it, and older plans can differ. Check your plan before you create the API key. ### Connect your ClickFunnels workspace 1. In ClickFunnels, open **Team Settings** > **Developer Portal**. 2. Add a platform application, then copy its API key. 3. Copy your workspace URL, which ends in myclickfunnels.com. 4. Copy the workspace ID, the number at the end of your home dashboard URL. 5. In Mindstamp, open **Integrations** and select **Connect** on the **ClickFunnels** card. 6. Enter the **API Key**, **Workspace URL**, and **Workspace ID**, then select **Connect ClickFunnels**. 7. Check that the page shows **ClickFunnels Connected**. Open the video’s **Integrations** page, then select **Manage** on the **ClickFunnels** card. 2. Under **Video Integration Settings**, turn on **Sync viewers with email addresses to ClickFunnels**. To save watch progress, also turn on **Track watch percentage as custom attribute**. 3. Select **Save Video Settings**. 4. On Pro and higher, open a question or button in the editor and turn on **ClickFunnels** in its **Integrations** section. Choice, multi-select, text, date, number, rating, and poll questions can map. 5. For a question, enter a **Custom Attribute Name**. For a button, enter a **Tag to Apply**, or a **Custom Attribute Name** and **Custom Attribute Value**. 6. Play the published video with a test email, then let the view end. 7. Open the contact in ClickFunnels and check its tags and attributes. ## The ClickFunnels video element next to a Mindstamp video ### ClickFunnels video and workflows - The video element embeds YouTube, Vimeo, Voomly, Wistia, HTML5, or a custom embed. We found no in-video questions in its help article. - Workflows can start from an Applied Tag trigger. - We found no workflow trigger for watching a video. A ClickFunnels feature request for one has 56 votes and is still open. ### What Mindstamp adds - Questions, buttons, and branching inside the video. - A tag on the contact from a button click, which you can use in an Applied Tag workflow. - The answers you map, and the watch percentage, stored as contact attributes. ## Check these before you rely on the data ### Email required Mindstamp sends nothing for anonymous viewers. Turn on lead capture before you rely on the sync. ### Sent after the view ends ClickFunnels gets nothing during playback, so a workflow that starts on a Mindstamp tag starts some time after the viewer stops. Allow for that delay. ### No retry and no delivery log Mindstamp logs a failed call only on its side. Check one test contact after setup, and reconnect if the ClickFunnels page in Mindstamp asks for your credentials again. ### Watch percentage keeps the latest view Each completed view overwrites the attribute, even with a lower number. See every view in Mindstamp reporting. ## ClickFunnels interactive video FAQ ### How do I connect Mindstamp to ClickFunnels? With an API key, your workspace URL, and your workspace ID. Create the key in ClickFunnels under **Team Settings** > **Developer Portal**. In Mindstamp, open **Integrations**, select **Connect** on the **ClickFunnels** card, enter all three, and select **Connect ClickFunnels**. Then turn on sync for each video. If the viewer gives the email partway through, the earlier answers and clicks in that view still count. ### When does the data reach ClickFunnels? After the view ends, which is when the video ends, the viewer reaches 100 percent, or 2 minutes pass with no activity. Allow for some delay after that. Mindstamp does not retry a failed call and shows no delivery log, so check one test contact after setup. ### Can a Mindstamp video start a ClickFunnels workflow? Yes, through a tag. Give a button a **Tag to Apply**, then build a ClickFunnels workflow on the Applied Tag trigger, and check with one test contact that a tag from Mindstamp starts it.
