Documents checked September 30, 2026. Paste the Mindstamp iframe code into the HTML view of the Canvas Rich Content Editor, and students answer on the page while Mindstamp records each answer. It is off by default. When it is on, add *.mindstamp.com to the allowed domains, or the player does not load. ### Paste the iframe code 1. In Mindstamp, publish the video from its **Share** page. 2. Under **Embed**, choose **Basic iframe** and select **Copy embed code**. Canvas removes script tags, so the Responsive code does not work. 3. In Canvas, edit a Page and open the HTML editor (the button). 4. Paste the code and select **Save**. 5. View the page as a test student and check fullscreen. SCORM is not available in Canvas beta or test environments. 1. On the Mindstamp **Share** page, under **Export**, select **Download SCORM package**. This needs a Core plan or higher. 2. In **SCORM Version**, choose any version. Canvas lists SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 2nd, 3rd, and 4th editions. 3. In **Completion Checkpoint**, choose 10, 25, 50, 75, 90, 95 or 100 percent. The 80 and 85 percent options do not record completion. 4. In the course, open **SCORM** in course navigation, upload the ZIP file, and import it as a **graded assignment**. You cannot change the import type later. 5. Run the assignment as a test student and check the Gradebook. ## Canvas Studio puts quiz questions on video ### Canvas Studio - Quiz questions on the video timeline, with grades sent to the Gradebook. - Timestamped comments and video insights. - A separate Instructure product from Canvas LMS. ### What Mindstamp adds - Branching, hotspots, and buttons on the video. - Lead capture for videos that you also share outside Canvas. - Answers by student next to the Gradebook score, for item analysis. - The same video in Canvas, another LMS, and your website. ## Check these before you publish ### The player is blocked An admin turned on the Content Security Policy. Ask the admin to add *.mindstamp.com to the allowed domains. ### The code changes on save Canvas strips script tags and tags that are not on its allowed list. Use the Basic iframe code. ### No fullscreen Check that allowfullscreen is still in the code after you save the page. ### No SCORM option The SCORM LTI must be on at the account level, and SCORM does not run in beta or test instances. ### No score in the Gradebook An ungraded SCORM import never reaches the Gradebook. Choose graded assignment when you import. ## Canvas LMS interactive video FAQ ### Can I embed an interactive video in Canvas? Yes. Open the HTML view of the Rich Content Editor on a Page, Assignment, or Discussion, and paste the Mindstamp Basic iframe code. Canvas keeps iframe tags, so the player works on the page. ### Does a Mindstamp SCORM package send grades to Canvas? Yes, when you import it as a graded assignment with the Canvas SCORM tool. Canvas gives it 100 points by default and puts the score in the Gradebook. ### Which SCORM version should I use for Canvas? Any of them. Canvas Studio adds quiz questions to video in Canvas and grades them. Mindstamp also adds branching and hotspots, and the same video works outside Canvas. Compare both with one real lesson. ### Why does my embed not load in Canvas? If your Canvas admin turned on the Content Security Policy, the Mindstamp domain must be on the allowed list.
