Documents checked September 30, 2026. Upload a Mindstamp SCORM package to a Blackboard Learn Ultra course, and Blackboard records a grade from the schema you pick at import. You set the schema at import. | Each view, with the student name and ID from Blackboard. | ## Add the video to an Ultra course ### Alternate domain The **Add HTML** block shows only after an admin enables an alternate domain for your Blackboard site. Blackboard then loads the saved HTML from that domain in its own iframe. Your site may not have one. Ask your admin before you plan an embed. ### Paste the code in an HTML block 1. In Mindstamp, publish the video from its **Share** page. 2. Under **Embed**, choose **Basic iframe** and select **Copy embed code**. Blackboard documents custom HTML and CSS in this block, and the Basic iframe code needs no script. 3. In the Ultra course, open a **Document** and select **Add HTML** to add a new block. 4. Paste the code in the HTML editor and save the Document. 5. Open the Document as a test student. Play the video and try fullscreen. You choose the grade schema when you import, and you cannot change it or the maximum score later. 1. On the Mindstamp **Share** page, under **Export**, select **Download SCORM package**. This needs a Core plan or higher. 2. In **SCORM Version**, choose **SCORM 1.2** or a SCORM 2004 edition. Blackboard does not name a 2004 edition. 3. In **Completion Checkpoint**, choose 10, 25, 50, 75, 90, 95 or 100 percent. The 80 and 85 percent options do not record completion. 4. Add the ZIP file to the Ultra course as a SCORM package. Do not unzip it. 5. Set the grade schema to **Score** for the quiz score. 6. Run the package as a test student and open the gradebook. ## Blackboard Video Studio records video but asks no questions ### Video in Blackboard Learn - Video Studio records, uploads, and captions video. It needs a separate license. - Insert Media embeds video only from providers on its fixed list. - In-video questions come from App Catalog partners, such as FeedbackFruits and PlayPosit. ### What Mindstamp adds - Questions that work in any course, with no App Catalog tool to install. - A review scene for a student who misses a question in a recorded lecture. - A gradebook score from the SCORM package, with every answer kept in Mindstamp. - One package that you can reuse across Ultra course copies. ## Check these before you publish ### No Add HTML option Your site has no alternate domain. Ask an admin to enable one, or upload a SCORM package instead. ### Warning banner on an inline Web Link Blackboard says the course panel view is for content on Blackboard or your institution’s website. Students can see a warning banner when parts of a page do not show, so keep the default new window. ### The grade schema is final Blackboard does not let you change the grade schema or the maximum score after import. Decide before you upload. ### Fullscreen inside the HTML block The block runs in Blackboard’s own iframe, and Blackboard does not document fullscreen there. Try fullscreen as a test student. If it fails, use a Web Link that opens in a new window. ## Blackboard Learn Ultra interactive video FAQ ### Can I add an interactive video to Blackboard Learn Ultra? Yes. Upload a Mindstamp SCORM package, which needs no admin. If your site has an alternate domain, you can also paste the Basic iframe code into an Add HTML block in a Document. ### Why is Mindstamp missing from Insert Media? The Ultra content editor accepts media addresses only from a fixed list of providers, such as Kaltura and Panopto. Mindstamp is not on that list, and the editor has no source code view for an iframe. Use the Add HTML block or a SCORM package. ### What does Blackboard record from the SCORM package? Blackboard records a grade, based on the schema you pick at import, and counts the last graded attempt. With the Score schema, the grade is the share of Mindstamp questions answered correctly on the first try. The full record of each student’s choices stays in Mindstamp reports. Blackboard documents SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 through the Rustici SCORM Engine, without naming a 2004 edition. Mindstamp exports SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 3rd and 4th editions on Core plans and higher. Upload one package to a test course before you roll it out. In the Original course view, an **Item** from **Build Content** has an HTML source view that accepts iframes, according to institution guides. Paste the Mindstamp Basic iframe code there, or upload the same SCORM package. ### Does Blackboard Learn have its own interactive video? Blackboard Learn has no in-video questions of its own. Video Studio records and captions video but asks no questions, so schools add in-video questions through App Catalog partners. Mindstamp has no LTI tool.
