# Interactive video in 360Learning

LMS guide · Updated: 2026-10-05 · As documented by 360Learning. Documents checked September 30, 2026.

Paste the Mindstamp Basic iframe code into a 360Learning course as an embedded document, and 360Learning records completion while Mindstamp records every answer and path. 360Learning says connected SCORM packages are not supported, and the Mindstamp package loads its video from Mindstamp, so test one before you rely on its score.

## The embed is the safe route in 360Learning

| Method | Where in 360Learning | What 360Learning records | What Mindstamp records |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Embed code | Add activity, Add a document, Import tab, Paste an embed code. Iframe or embed tags only. | Completion of the document. No score. | Each view, answer, click, and branch. Add lead capture to see names. |
| Share link | Not documented. Paste a web link names public YouTube, Vimeo, and Dailymotion links, not Mindstamp. | Not documented for a Mindstamp link. | Views and answers in Mindstamp, if a learner opens the link. |
| SCORM package | Create a course by importing an eLearning file. The package becomes the whole course. | Completion and score, if the package runs. Test first. | Each view, with the learner name and ID from 360Learning. |

## Add the video to a course

### Add the code as a document

1. In Mindstamp, publish the video from its **Share** page.
2. Under **Embed**, choose **Basic iframe** and select **Copy embed code**. 360Learning takes only iframe or embed tags.
3. In the 360Learning course editor, select **Add activity**, then **Add a document**.
4. Open the **Import** tab, choose **Paste an embed code**, and paste the code.
5. Preview the course as a learner and play the video to the end. 360Learning advises documents under 15 minutes.

### Import the package as its own course

360Learning turns an imported SCORM file into a whole course, with no other activities. It also says connected packages, which load content from another server, are not supported. The Mindstamp package also loads its video from Mindstamp, so it can hit the same limit. Run one test before rollout.

1. On the Mindstamp **Share** page, under **Export**, select **Download SCORM package**. This needs a Core plan or higher.
2. In **SCORM Version**, choose any version. 360Learning lists SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 2nd, 3rd, and 4th editions.
3. In **Completion Checkpoint**, choose 10, 25, 50, 75, 90, 95 or 100 percent. The 80 and 85 percent options do not record completion.
4. In 360Learning, create a course by importing an eLearning file, and choose the ZIP file.
5. Run the course as a test learner. Check the completion, the score, and that the exit button closes the course. If any check fails, use the embed.

## 360Learning keeps questions in separate activities

### Video activities and questions

- Video activities with start and end excerpts, subtitles, and 360-degree video.
- Questions as separate activities, with AI-suggested questions.
- Video Pitch and Screencast Demo, where the learner records an answer.

### What Mindstamp adds to a course

- Questions on the video itself, next to the separate question activities that experts write.
- A practice path that branches on each learner’s choice before a Video Pitch exercise.
- One report of every answer across all 360Learning groups that use the video.
- Lead capture, so a link opened outside 360Learning still has a name on each answer.

## Check these before you publish

### Long videos stop mid-session

360Learning suspends embedded documents after inactivity and advises documents under 15 minutes. Split long training into shorter videos, or warn learners before they start.

### Connected packages are not supported

360Learning says packages that load content from another server are not supported, and their exit button may not close. Test one Mindstamp package first. If it fails, use the embed.

### The player does not show

Paste an embed code takes iframe or embed tags only. The Responsive and Popout codes use a script, so copy the Basic iframe code.

### Domain limits in the mobile app

360Learning says its mobile app sends no referring domain, so Vimeo domain limits fail there. When no address arrives, Mindstamp lets the video load, so Allowed embed domains neither blocks nor protects the video in the app. Leave the domain limit off if you rely on it for these videos.

## 360Learning interactive video FAQ

### Can I add an interactive video to 360Learning?

Yes. In the course editor, add a document and paste the Mindstamp **Basic iframe** code under **Paste an embed code**. The player shows inside the course, and learners answer the questions there. The video stays hosted in Mindstamp, so your edits show without a new upload.

### Does a Mindstamp SCORM package work in 360Learning?

A Mindstamp SCORM package may not run in 360Learning, because 360Learning does not support connected packages, even though it lists SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 2nd to 4th editions. Connected packages load content from the author’s servers, and their exit button may not close the course. The Mindstamp package loads the hosted video, so import one as a test course and run it before rollout. See [SCORM export](https://mindstamp.com/help/scorm-export).

### Can I put the SCORM package next to other activities?

No. 360Learning makes an imported eLearning file the whole course, with no other activities. To place the video between documents and questions in one course, use the embed. Use a SCORM course only when the score must be in 360Learning.

### Can I connect Mindstamp to 360Learning with LTI?

No. 360Learning added LTI content in its web release of August 31, 2026, for desktop only. Mindstamp does not offer LTI, so use the embed or a SCORM package. See [LMS compatibility](https://mindstamp.com/help/lms-compatibility).

### Does 360Learning have interactive video?

360Learning video activities support excerpts and subtitles, and they can play 360-degree video. 360Learning does not document questions inside a video. Its questions are separate activities. Mindstamp puts questions and hotspots on the video itself, and branches each learner to the right scene.
