# How do I add a Mindstamp video to Litmos?

Topic: [Training, LMS and certificates](https://mindstamp.com/help/training) · Updated: 2026-10-05

## Short answer

Publish the Mindstamp video and copy its embed code. In the Litmos course, select **Add Module**, **Create**, then **Embed content**, paste the code in the **Embed text** box, and save. For completion and a score in Litmos, upload a SCORM 1.2 package instead.

## Steps

1. In Mindstamp, publish the video from its **Share** page if it is not published yet.
2. Under **Embed**, choose **Responsive** and select **Copy embed code**.
3. In the Litmos course, select **Add Module**, then **Create**, then **Embed content**.
4. Paste the code in the **Embed text** box and add a title.
5. Save the module, then preview it as a learner on a computer and on a phone.

## These steps come from partner guides

Litmos help pages need a customer login. These module names come from Synthesia’s and 123FormBuilder’s Litmos guides. If your account shows different names, follow Litmos help. If the Responsive code does not show, use the **Basic iframe** code.

## Upload a SCORM 1.2 package

- Litmos lists SCORM, xAPI, and AICC. Public documents confirm SCORM 1.2, so choose SCORM 1.2.
- On the Mindstamp **Share** page, under **Export**, select **Download SCORM package**. This needs a Core plan or higher. Choose a **Completion Checkpoint** of 10, 25, 50, 75, 90, 95 or 100 percent.
- Add a SCORM module to the Litmos course and upload the ZIP file.
- Partner guides say Litmos opens SCORM courses in a new window. Allow pop-ups for your Litmos site.

## If your account restricts embed domains

If you set **Allowed embed domains** in Mindstamp, add your Litmos site domain to the list. Otherwise learners see “Video not available: Code 617”. See [restrict embed domains](https://mindstamp.com/help/restrict-embed-domains).

## Know which learner watched

The embed does not receive the learner’s Litmos account. To see names in Mindstamp reports, add lead capture to the video so learners enter their name and email. A SCORM package passes the name and ID from the LMS instead. See [viewer identity and anonymous viewers](https://mindstamp.com/help/viewer-identity-and-anonymous-viewers).
