# How do I add a Mindstamp video to LearnWorlds?

Topic: [Training, LMS and certificates](https://mindstamp.com/help/training) · Updated: 2026-10-05

## Short answer

To show the video, add an **Embed** activity to the course and paste the Mindstamp embed code. To send scores to the LearnWorlds gradebook, add a Mindstamp SCORM package as a **Graded SCORM** activity. Graded SCORM needs the LearnWorlds Pro Trainer plan or higher.

## Steps

1. In Mindstamp, publish the video from its **Share** page if it is not published yet.
2. Under **Embed**, choose **Responsive** and select **Copy embed code**.
3. In the LearnWorlds course outline, select **Add activity**, then **Embed**.
4. Enter a title, open **Settings**, and paste the code in the embed code field.
5. Select **Save**, then preview the activity as a learner on a computer and on a phone.

## Send the score to the gradebook with Graded SCORM

On Mindstamp Core and higher plans, the **Share** page has a **Download SCORM package** button. LearnWorlds lists SCORM 1.2, 2004 3rd edition, and 2004 4th edition, so any Mindstamp version works.

- On the Mindstamp **Share** page, under **Export**, select **Download SCORM package**. Choose a version and a **Completion Checkpoint** of 10, 25, 50, 75, 90, 95 or 100 percent.
- In LearnWorlds, select **Add activity**, then **Graded SCORM** under Exams.
- Turn on **Collect Score from SCORM**, upload the ZIP file, and set a custom passing score. A Mindstamp SCORM 2004 package reports “passed” at the checkpoint, whatever the score.
- Run the course as a test learner and check the gradebook.

## Do not replace the SCORM file to update the video

LearnWorlds warns that updating a SCORM file can reset learner progress or the gradebook. The Mindstamp package loads the hosted video, so edits you make in Mindstamp show in LearnWorlds without a new upload.

## If your account restricts embed domains

If you set **Allowed embed domains** in Mindstamp, add your LearnWorlds school domain to the list. Otherwise learners see “Video not available: Code 617”. See [restrict embed domains](https://mindstamp.com/help/restrict-embed-domains).

## Know which learner watched

The embed does not receive the learner’s LearnWorlds account. To see names in Mindstamp reports, add lead capture to the video so learners enter their name and email. A SCORM package passes the name and ID from the LMS instead. See [viewer identity and anonymous viewers](https://mindstamp.com/help/viewer-identity-and-anonymous-viewers).
